Laser Cutting
Using a highly focused beam of light, our skilled craftsmen generate clean cuts in sheet and plate metals of varying thicknesses. Our computer numerical control (CNC) laser follows the X and Y coordinates input as digital instructions, vaporizing the metal in the designated cut path.
We utilize large-capacity laser systems for processing, allowing us to handle not only large components, but complex shapes that would be costly or difficult to achieve when cut manually. Also, laser-cut products require little to no finishing, as the process doesn’t produce burrs, dross, or slag.
With our precision laser cutting services, you benefit from the following:
- Increased accuracy for tight-tolerance production
- Shortened lead times without requiring tooling changes
- Scalable manufacturing opportunities ranging from single prototypes to full-scale production
- Material and shape versatility in our projects
- Reduced scrap waste and energy consumption
-
CNC Plasma Cutting
We also capitalize on the accuracy and speed of CNC technology in our precision plasma cutting services. We utilize high-definition 4-axis equipment to cut through various conductive metals. Combining ionized gas and heat to generate plasma, an electrically conductive material, the plasma torch releases a jet of plasma as hot as 40,000 °F to produce clean cuts. In as little as one to two weeks, depending on the project, we can plasma cut anything from wear parts to lifting equipment.
Plasma cutting is advantageous for the following:
- Cuts of enhanced quality
- Flexibility of material and thickness
- Versatility of the products the process can generate
